  Last Friday night, St. Andrew's school was buzzing with International flavour! A rich variety of international foods and drinks were accompanied by an international quiz and music for entertainment. Parents and students shared food from their culture or country - there were African stews and maize meal, a rich array of Middle Eastern foods, American hotdogs and South American chilli, European cheeses, pastas and pizzas, to name but a few of the delights on offer. It was great to experience the incredible international nature of St. Andrew's school, with the motto 'Everyone is different, everyone is special' really brought to life in the sharing of food and conversation. 

  

• Y4 in Dorchester

  1.35pm 20th Oct. Year 4 have arrived safely in Dorchester. No travel sickness en route! Now settling into their dormitories. 

• Roadworks on London Road

  London Road improvement scheme - work will start on 13th October and last until early May 2015. 

  Phase 1 - October to December 2014

  • A40 approach to the Green Road Roundabout widened.
  • Widening the road on the west side of the Green Road Roundabout to create a new bus stop layby.
  • Carrying out areas of footway resurfacing and conversion to shared use of south footway.  

   

  Phase 2 - January to May 2015

  • Carriageway maintenance works to London Road. Carried out in short lengths to to minimise disruption.
