Pupil Leadership
At St Andrew's, we believe every child has a voice, and our three Pupil Leadership teams provide meaningful opportunities for pupils to contribute to school life. Rooted in our Christian vision—Everyone is different; everyone is special; everyone is our neighbour—our councils ensure that all children are valued, heard, and empowered to make a difference. Through the School Council, pupils learn about democracy in action, representing their peers, discussing ideas, and making decisions that help shape school life. The Green Team leads on environmental initiatives, encouraging responsibility for our world and promoting sustainability within our school community. Our Wellbeing Team supports pupils’ emotional and social well-being, promoting kindness, inclusion, and positive mental health. These councils also help children understand key British Values, particularly how democracy and government work, through elections, debates, and decision-making. Together, they ensure our pupils play an active role in shaping a caring, responsible, and forward-thinking school.
